21st Century Education
The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers—21st CCLC—is a grant program with a goal to provide opportunities for students to meet state and local academic standards in the areas of math and reading. In addition, the program offers several enrichment activities that support academic and literacy programs. The program also provides services to families of participating students.
Winner’s Circle is the 21st CCLC program at Tolleson Union High School. At TUHS, we believe that all students are winners. TUHS is committed to the academic success of each student, and with the inclusion of families, all students will become successful members of the community and society.
Winner’s Circle students take part in a range of after-school academic programs including tutoring in math, reading, ACT preparation, and STEM. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a range of enrichment programs that support academic achievement.
