A Message From Our Principal
Welcome Class of 2029 Wolverine Families,
My name is Martin Perez, Jr., and I’m honored to be the new principal of Tolleson Union High School. I am deeply humbled by the opportunity to lead such a vibrant and dedicated community, and I look forward to working in partnership with our students, families, and staff to carry forward our proud Wolverine legacy.
As we prepare to kick off the school year, I want to officially welcome the class of 2029 to TUHS. Your journey begins with your first day of school, “Freshman Day” on July 30, 2025, a day designed to get connected, explore our new campus, and begin building lifelong memories.
Below is a quick overview of what to expect on Freshman Day:
- Start time: 8:00 a.m. — Students will arrive at the PAC to receive their schedules and hear a special welcome message.
- Club Fair: Explore extracurricular opportunities in the gym.
- Campus Tours: Guided group tours of key areas like the 100 building, bookstore, cafeteria, gym and PAC.
- Technology: Pick up your school laptop at the media center and log in.
- Class Time: Take your math and/or Spanish placement tests.
- PAC Session: Learn about PBIS and our schoolwide expectations.
- End time: 3:12 p.m.
Please review the Freshman Day schedule with your child in advance. This is an exciting and important day for our newest Wolverines, and we want every student to feel confident and ready to thrive.
Take a look at our campus map. Please be advised that the PAC building is highlighted in yellow and is located off Van Buren.
We’re thrilled to welcome you to the TUHS family!
